This weekend began friday night with dinner at Barley's with Aunt Darty and Uncle Dave. I was a little fussy so dad took me for a quick walk outside but the patio was packed with smokers so we got back inside in a hurry. Mom and Dad were remembering the good old days where you had to walk out of a bar to get away from the smoke whereas we had to go into the bar to get away from the smoke.
On Saturday Mom and Dad worked on my baby announcements while we watched the French Open. In honor of the open, I wore my Adidas tennis dress that Aunt Darty got me (note the stupid bloomers.) I looked very cute if I do say so myself. Later that night, Mom and Dad ditched me to go to the Ben Folds concert and I spent the night with my sisters (Penny turned 2!) at G&G D's house. Those suckers must really love me to put up with poopy diapers and early mornings when they don't have to.
Sunday has been pretty chill. I helped Dad with the dishes, did some tummy time and have been wearing out the batteries on my swing. Mom and Dad's stupid fake TiVo (Faux-Vo as they call it) crashed hard so we've made it a movie night.
Perhaps the best part of the weekend was watching Rafa Nadal lose at the French on Sunday. Mom and Dad don't like him so neither do I! At least he's not wearing those capris any more; those were awful. Nadal losing sure opens the door for the rest of the field - GO ANDY RODDICK!
Until Later,
Avery
