R E M

I only took a few cat naps yesterday at Miss Anne's because I just don't want to miss anything. So, when I did get home, I was ready for some z's. (side note: have you ever thought about how to spell the letters of the alphabet? Why haven't I seen that in any of my books?) I had a bottle around 6:30p yesterday then went for a nap in my swing. Next thing I knew, it was this morning. THAT was some nap. Not only was my nap long, it was actually too long so Dad was rushing to get me over to Miss Anne's. I'll be honest, watching Dad get all flustered and "run" around the house was pretty entertaining. That man is in for some real trouble when I start to purposely sabotage his mornings. You better stay on my good side old man.

After Miss Anne's, I went with Mom to meet a photographer that's going to take some fancy pants pictures for her website. (also, check out the PMD blog. How cute are those mini ketchup bottles?!?!)

After the visit with the photog, we headed home for a nice relaxing... 35 minutes before M&D pawned me off on Grandma Herbert so they could go see a movie called the Hangover. HELLO PEOPLE... REMEMBER ME?? I'm your daughter; try spending some time with me! Brutal!

That's okay, I hadn't seen GmaH in awhile so it was nice to spend some time with her. Needless to say, we did some reading including Froggy Plays in the Band, Hop Like a Bunny; Dance Like a Bear and Goosey Goosey Gander. Now, I was a little drowsy during that last one so I googled it (for you old people, that's a verb meaning to search the information super web) and according to the infoweb, it's a poem that goes a little something like this:

Goosey, goosey, gander,
Whither dost thou wander?
Upstairs and downstairs
And in my lady's chamber.

There I met an old man
Who wouldn't say his prayers;
I took him by the left leg,
And threw him down the stairs.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, that dirty old man had it coming.

Until later,
Avery
