Then there were two books in what I think is the "Help Me Be Good" collection. The first was A Children's Book About Overdoing It. Overdoing It is part of the Help Me Be Good About Getting Along With Myself nutshell pack (not kidding) which includes other "childhood" misbehaviors like Being Lazy, Being Forgetful, Being Messy and Being Wasteful. I understand these are children's books but does anyone else see an opportunity for Dad here? Happy Birthday Dad - It's a nutshell pack on your childhood misbehaviors. Anyway, the second book was A Children's Book About Stealing. I found this book particularly insightful, especially this page:

That just sounds "right" to me you know. I feel like if such a situation were to arise, that I'd know what to do and I'm a better person for it.
The verdict from Dr. Shanker was that I have a cold. Which I guess is ultimately good news even though there's nothing I can do about it. This is my 3rd cold and Miss Anne said she thought babies averaged 8 colds their first year so I'm right on par there. Speaking of Miss Anne, I had a ton of fun over there today. I didn't let my cold stop me from taking everything in. Naps? We don't need no stinkin' naps!
When Mom and I got home, Mom went to work on some Papermill Designs stuff so Dad and I did some playing. I LOVE my new BotM book which I went to town on (seen below.)
Then I tried on a piece of my new outfit from Greats Uncle Dale & Aunt Suzi. They just got back from Paris and sent along this hat which has a matching sweater. The sweater won't fit until later this winter but I totally LOVE this hat. (check out my budding mandible central incisor in the first pic)
Until Later,
Avery
