Whale of Time

On Sunday Mom, Dad & I headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's for brunch and family pictures. In our classic family style, we were thirty minutes late but for good reason -- We were enjoying Mom's new found fame. Paper Mill Designs was one of five local businesses featured in Sunday's Kansas City Star as offering unique holiday gift ideas. Check out the article here. VERY EXCITING!

Over at G&G H's I did a lot playing and frankly M&D pushed their luck by not giving me time for a morning nap. I was getting close actually so Mom and I watched GpaH play a little piano to pass the time. She knows how I love the piano and I was super attentive right up until Sarah of Sarah Maxey Photography arrived for our photo session. Despite it being a little chilly, my favorite part was getting to go outside for a few quick poses. I can't WAIT to see the pictures!

In the mean time, here are some pics that M&D snapped of our little branch of the family tree. How cute is my outfit???

After we got home, I (and my father) took a wicked sweet four hour nap. After I got up, I did some seriously solid playing and did so in my fancy outfit. Hey, I may not get a chance to wear it again so I want to get plenty of use out of it.

This morning Dad asked me to entertain myself while he got my bag ready for Miss Anne's. Penny came to see what I was doing - though come to think of it, she may have just been interested in the bunnies on my feet!

After school, I had another make-up swim lesson and after last week's performance, I was under a lot of pressure to perform. I did pretty well this time as well; like 98% crying free. One of the times was right after my lone dunk but it was only because I was caught off guard. The second time was when I took a header while on the whale floaty. Dad snapped a pic with his camera phone which leaves a lot to be desired but you may get the gist.

That about wraps up my day. I'll leave you with a pic of me playing as Parker "guards" me.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else takes it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
