That's a Wrap

On Thursday, Dad was MIA so it was a girls night in. Mom let me open my December Book of the Month book. Wrapping paper is SO fun! Mom told me that there's a special day coming up where I'll get to play with a TON of wrapping paper ALL DAY! Needless to say, I'm very excited!

On Friday, I got to play at Grandma Herbert's all day and as I've grown to expect, we had a few special visitors - Tina Wilke & Ginny McComb! And if that wasn't exciting enough, Mrs. McComb brought me some presents. More wrapping paper - AWESOME!

On Saturday, Mom and I went over to G&G H's to bake cookies and build a ginger bread house. I think next year we'll be bringing in a few ginger bread subcontractors because our house fell apart. There's always risk in DIY projects! It was a lot of fun because not only did we get to make the cookies but we got to decorate them too. I may or may not have gotten icing in my hair which Penny may or may not have found some remnants of later. So, baking and decorating was all well and good but I never got to enjoy the fruits of our labor and feel my expression in the pic below pretty much sums up my feelings.

On Saturday night, Mom and Dad ditched me for yet another holiday party. That's just fine by me though because that meant I got to have a slumber party over at Grandma & Grandpa Davenport's. GmaD was helping me practice my waving by saying hi to Aunt Lily every time we saw her. Between my two Gma's, I'm getting pretty good at waiving if I do say so myself.

After M&D picked me up this morning, we ran a few errands, including one to Target and I'm very excited about a few things I saw in the cart -- TWO ROLLS OF WRAPPING PAPER! AHHHHH!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else takes it when you're gone.

Until Later,
