BLAH-G

What's the worst part about Mom & Dad having a DVR? That they're watching pre-Christmas shows 10 days later which means I'm still engulfed in Christmas music. To keep sane, I'm pretty sure I need a solid ten to eleven month break before that begins again and to accomplish that, I need to put Christmas number one behind me.

Okay, now that my rant is out of the way, I have some catching up to do... as per usual. We left off on the 29th so we'll pick up with the 30th.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! Dad turned 29 (for the fourth time) on 12/30 and to celebrate, we went to Herford House with Aunt Darty, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. Now, I am pretty sure that the "beef" that I have was NOT canned by HH. How do I know? Well, they look nothing alike for starters but it's hard to tell what M&D's steaks would look like if they were pureed so that's no guarantee. However, my beef and especially my beef burps smell awful and everyone's dinner smelled REALLY good. If you don't trust me, I'll let you serve me up some beef the next time I see you.

Yikes... maybe I shouldn't have started with a rant because I am tirrrrred. Okay, let's close out the year.

For New Year's Eve, M&D and I went over to my boyfriend Evan's (and his parents') house. I was super nervous! No worries though, I was wearing a super cute new outfit despite not having any good pics to prove it. Also at the party were Mason and his parents Dondi & Jerry, a soon to be named Ludlow baby and her (fingers crossed!) parents Patty & Stu (CONGRATS!), Kellie & Jeremy and Jason & Tyson.

I had so much fun watching Evan and Mason run around playing. I really need to work on my mobility because I'm pretty sure that's where the fun's at. Of course, with M&D keeping me couped up in the bjorn, I guess it doesn't matter how mobile I am. BOO! I did get to play with a new toy called a beach ball. Not sure what it has to do with the beach but it was AWESOME!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
