Ooooh, Ten

FIRST POST OF THE NEW YEAR! Oh wait, that's not true. Um, first post about the new year? Well, I guess that's something. When the clock struck midnight a few days ago, it occurred to me that I've already lived in two different decades and my parents have only lived in five different decades. Proportionately, I'm winning. SWEET! Another thing that occurred to me is that given my heritage from both Mom's and Dad's sides of the family, there is a very real possibility that I'll live to see the year 2100. That's pretty awesome but seriously, there BETTER be flying cars by then.

The first was pretty chill. I spent most of the day just playing, including with a brand new tennis ball! I had found one of Parker & Penny's old balls but apparently M&D decided I shouldn't be putting that one in my mouth. Of course, as soon as I dropped said ball, Penny happily grabbed it. That's okay, I don't mind sharing if M&D don't mind me sharing.

For dinner, I got a special treat when we met Aunt Darty, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner at J. Alexanders. I had so much fun! I even managed to get my hands on (and in) some mustard which must be a kin to the end of the world given Dad's reaction. You gotta chill old man!

This is the only picture from the second so I'm assuming I spent the day just standing around. That may not sound great to you but I LOVE standing so it was probably pretty awesome. Maybe I need to start taking notes so I can remember what happens each day... or I guess I could blog more often. Hmm, anyone know where I can get a small notepad?

On the third, we were pretty lazy but finally decided to run some errands just before dinner time. We hit Sam's (crazy, as per usual) then dinner then Target. I've noticed that when M&D take me out to eat, they're always trying to get me to play with my toys but they seem pretty boring when there are non-toy items that I could play with. Menus are definitely on my favorite things list and I really love to pull up my Sesame Street table covers. Hey, half the fun is watching M&D and others play defense and try to keep stuff off the floor and/or out of my mouth. Not surprisingly, I win a LOT.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
