Nordstrom Fits

Okay, my last update was through Tuesday of last week so I'll pick it up with Wednesday.

It was day three with Grandma Davenport and she came to pick me up as per usual. I think Oak Park mall must have some sort of special gravitational pull on GmaD because we went straight from our house to the mall - and we had just been there on Monday! None of the stores in the mall are really open this early which made me ask why the doors are even unlocked. That question was answered rather immediately as we started walking because we were surrounded by herds of "mall walkers." These people go to the mall and JUST WALK. I consider that a front to people like GmaD and me who actually SHOP at the mall. They should be ashamed of themselves! We walked around long enough for the stores to finally open and when they did, we made the rounds. He hit Dillards and Macy's, Forever 21 (I think they should have a baby spin-off named Forever 21 Months - gold right?) and Nordstrom yet shockingly we left for lunch rather than hitting the cafe. Instead, we met Dad, Aunt Darty and Grandpa Davenport at Houlihan's in Olathe. I had a delicious bottle! After lunch GmaD and I headed to the Grand Opening of Stein Mart's new location. Holy cow, that place was a mad house. I think the only reason we didn't get anything is because the lines were insane. Come on people, the store just moved across the street, get a hold of yourselves!

After my afternoon nap, Gmad hooked me up with some pears (which are awesome.) She also happens to have some decorative pears but they weren't as delicious.

On Thursday, I rotated Grandmas and spent the day with GmaH. The weather was FINALLY a little Spring like and GmaH and I went on a few walks, one of which was to visit Donna Lane. Sweet. I love Spring!

On Friday it was back to GmaH's for some walks before the weather got cold again. Boo snow!

In the afternoon, we met Mom at... wait for it... wait... NORDSTROM to visit Aunt Abby. Awesome!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
