Who Does Not Want to Wear the Ribbon?

On Thursday, my rash was pretty much gone but my skin still didn't look quite right so it was snow day number three. Dad took the day off again to help me convalesce. For lunch we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Davenport's. On the way there, we saw the car in the picture below. I think it's clear that Dad needs to put the diaper bag and thus the camera out of reach while he's driving or it may end poorly. Still, what is this "ribbon" showing support for? I think having Piano Ribbons really downplays the significance of Yellow Ribbons (support for the troops) and Pink Ribbons (breast cancer awareness) and all of the other ribbons that show support for something real and meaningful. And I really like pianos! What's wrong with people?

During all of these snow days, I've definitely missed Miss Anne and all my buddies but it was pretty cool to have lunch with Aunt Darty and G&G D. You can see we were all decked out for the KSU game Thursday night.

Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to see any of the K-State game because it started so late. I was able get an idea how the game was going though because I could hear Dad's heart beat from all the way up stairs. K-State pulled out a win in double over time -- and I missed it. Thanks for nothing M&D!

Friday was one of Mom's off Friday's but Dad still nabbed me for lunch with AD, G&G D at First Watch. Because seriously, when am I ever gonna get to go to FW again? Lunch was pretty awesome. I got to show GmaD how awesome I am with some crayons AND she fed me some poached eggs. I even actually swallowed some of the white parts this time. AD was trying to spread anti-egg propaganda but I wasn't falling it. Next thing you know, she'll tell me cheese isn't delicious either!

For dinner Friday night, M&D and I went to Jose Pepper's for 99 Cent Espinaca (Hey, now I get a nickel for every reader. Tell your friends!) I considered filing a complaint though because my high chair didn't sit level. That was until I discovered I could make it rock by leaning back and forth. Uh, FUN! Good thing Mom fastened my high chair seat belt or I may have rocked out... onto the floor.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
