Capture the Flag

One thing I've noticed since I started eating solid foods is that no matter where you go the kid's menu is pretty consistent: Grilled cheese, mac n cheese, um...etc. I went with "etc" there because I never make it past those first two. For real, Mom, Dad & I ate at a Mexican restaurant (okay, it was Jose Pepper's but still) and they totally had mac n cheese. And really, not too shabby either. I'm not sure that slapping a paper Mexican flag in it necessarily makes it Mexican food but maybe it does. I guess it's kind of like the Russians planting a flag on the sea floor of the north poll. Not sure it means anything but it probably makes them feel good.

There seems to be a lot of attention surrounding if and or when I'm going to walk. But frankly, I'm totally comfortable using my stroller for a little support. It seems fair to me; I've even seen old people using something for a little help so why can't I?

Occasionally, Dad has to go to Denver for work. Last week was one of those occasions. Boo! Actually, I don't think boo quite covers it though this picture may.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
