The Show Must Go On

Oops, I forgot a pic that should have gone in the last post. Also, it's a better view of how cute my new green dress is so how can that hurt. As you can tell, I was a bit perplexed by what was going on. The cart reads Hy-Vee but it was smaller than a normal grocery cart and the "groceries" weren't quite normal either. Regardless, we just stopped in to get some champagne for the party the next day.

Okay, now back to the proper time line for this blog. Sunday morning following the wedding we went to a brunch at First Watch Tina & Wayne Wilke's. Wait, what? I hope FW doesn't forget about us. T&W are friends of Grandma & Grandpa Herbert and they were nice enough to have people over to continue the celebration. Have you ever had mini quiches? They're like regular quiches but they're just my size. Sweet!

Aside from the quiches, my favorite part was probably T&W's deck. It was red and smooth and had an awesome view!

I spent most of my time on the shady part of the deck which means lots of time with the Woods and the McCombs. The McCombs were at our table at the reception too but I can never get enough of Ginny & Steve. You know, I get the sneaking suspicion that Ginny might like to be a grandma someday.... That's right, I'm putting you on notice Cogars!

While Dad was downstairs getting more coffee, I decided to visit with Jennifer Wood. And ooops, I forgot to tell her that I'm not allowed to play with cell phones. My bad!

Of course, when the newlyweds stopped by I went ahead and gave them a waddup too. I know, I'm such a little social butterfly!

In fact, don't think just because I don't have pictures with the Ashbergs or Clancys or Bakers or Cally Herberts or Britts or Nikki or Meredith or Hannah and her boss Travis that I didn't make the rounds. I did... probably.

After brunch we did some relaxing at home because we had dinner plans too. So busy! To celebrate father's day we headed over to Uncle Dave & Aunt Darty's where we met Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. I was a wee bit fussy but my life had been non stop parties for like four days and it was just starting to catch up, that's all.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
