Star Power

After our busy weekend, I was looking forward to doing some relaxing with Mom & Dad. And I was half right anyway. Mom decided she wanted to finish fixing up the kitchen bathroom which meant she was holed up in a tiny room with paint and drywall dust. In the mean time Dad was "forced" to babysit me as I roamed around playing with my toys.

When you press the musical note on This Little Piggy's hand (hand? hoof?) he sings... well, This Little Piggy. He has a brother bear that sings and claps Pad-a-cake. I know you're not supposed to pick favorites among siblings but I like the bear better. He claps, I clap, it's good times all around.

You've seen me play with Mom's mini work suitcase. What is it about the simplest things that draws my attention. I probably played on this thing for 20 minutes or so until my attention got drawn to two other benign items. Though at least one of them is a toy-or at least a holder of toys.

See, I really enjoy walking around but I also enjoy a challenge so I tend to pick a few toys to carry around on my journies journeys, you know, to spice things up.

As the night progresses and I get more and more tired, I also get more snuggly. This usually means crawling up and sitting with M or D and reading some books or in this case, doing a puzzle. No batteries, no lights, no music, no sound-yep, M&D picked this one out. I still do my part to make noise by smacking the blocks together!

Though sometimes Dad chimes in playing the role of my Stand & Groove: Yellow, Red, Circle (etc.)

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,

  1. Avery - where did you get that Cheerios t-shirt? David LOVES it. Anyway, breakfast this weekend? Bring your magnadoodle.
