Oh Brother

I know several of you regular readers would LOVE the title of this post to mean something more than it does.... but it doesn't. It just means that I found a bunch of pictures from Mom & Dad's old camera that stays in the diaper bag full time. So despite as much as I've complained about blogging in arrears, now I have to go even farther back than the seven days I'm already behind. Oh brother! (see what I mean?)

On the last Friday in May, Dad dropped me off at Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's and after he left, Aunt Abby, G&G H and I headed off to brunch at First Watch (Corinth Square.) I should buy some stock in that company.

PHOTO HUNT:

Hmm, I feel like something is wrong with this picture. And I think the waitress agrees with me.

Wait, do I look as silly wearing this bib as GmaH does?

A few days later M&D and I were running errands and they decided we should get some ice cream but Sheridan's was closed for Memorial Day. But M&D are a determined bunch so then we drove over to the Dairy Queen where Mom used to work but it was also closed. I figured this would be the end of the quest but no. We kept on driving and for some reason tried ANOTHER DAIRY QUEEN... which was actually open. Ooookay.

Did you know that the kids meal at Dairy Queen COMES with an ice cream cone. SWEET!

At the beginning of June, I went with AA & GmaH to Crown Center. We went to The Candy Store to see about some candy for AA's wedding reception. Did you know there are stores with nothing but CANDY? AAAAHHHHHHHH!

After GpaH got home that afternoon, Big Bird and I spent some QT playing him (that's me on the right.)

Uh, let's see here. A few days later M&D and I stopped at Jason's Deli for lunch. I had the mac n cheese and get this - more free ice cream! They're just givin' this stuff away too. Jackpot! I tried to upload another video directly to blogger but it's being fussy (must need a nap) so here's the YouTube version.

And lastly, here's one more pic from another Friday over at G&G H's. I don't remember everything we did but GmaH and I usually have a totally awesome time so I'm sure that day was no different.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
