Sneak Preview

I've discussed my affinity for Forts recently and perhaps the oldest fort in my reportiore reprotiore repiortore reprotiore repretoire repertoire (man, I was getting close but quit and looked it up) is the kitchen table. However, I've been exploring a lot lately and you'll see I've found a few other Forts disguised as everyday objects. And fortunately for me, I haven't had to rely on Mom building any of them. My latest Fort: Credenza.

Later that day (Sunday the 11th) the Irvines came over to play. I haven't seen my buddy Eli since Memorial Day and he's come along way. He's mobile! While our parents chatted (and watched the World Cup finale) Eli and I did some parallel playing. You see, kids our age don't really play with each other but more just near each other.

However, there was one time when our parallel playing must have switched to perpendicular and we got a little too close. As you can see, I am maybe a little perturbed here. No hard feelings though buddy, you can play with my toys any time.

Later that night, I was up playing on the couch. M&D were worried that I might flip over the side so they put Elmo there to play defense. Of course, having Elmo up on the couch just makes the couch even more fun.

To distract me and calm me down prior to bedtime, Mom read me a book.

And now, your reward for reading all the way to end. I realize that I'm over two weeks behind in my blogging but Dad and I played a pretty fun game last night (7/26) and of course, he caught it on video. Don't worry, I'll drop back to the middle of July on my next post but I wanted to share this video with you straight away.

Watch a larger version at YouTube It's worth it to see my expressions.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
