Cast Away

I spent Monday the 26th with Grandma Herbert and naturally, it was awesome. That night I did lots of playin' with Mom & Dad. I've heard Dad tell people that a friend of his once said, "Having a kid is just like having a dog that eventually learns to talk." I would be more offended but I am learning to talk and I played fetch with Dad for about five minutes that night.
But then I got distracted by this book. It has these totally cute red shoes (a word I can say) on the cover so I asked Dad to read it to me.

The 26th was also the night of "Sock Shot" which I enjoyed so much that I actually uploaded it the next day. But that wasn't the only video Dad took that night. Sock Shot was actually the second video taken that night and I'm trying to upload the other right now but... I haven't had much luck uploading to this site recently so we'll see how that goes.
Well, I was uploading for a while (close to two hours) and gave up. So then I defaulted to YouTube but that paused at 33% and didn't progress. So, I'll give you this picture, which is of Dad and me playing with the giant tennis ball Aunt Darcy got me. I kept trying to push it off the chair but Dad kept throwing it back on. Hilarity ensued.

I'm gonna go to bed now but before I do, I'll go ahead and start the upload to YouTube. If it's worked by the time Dad and I get up in the morning, I'll republish. Hold your breath!

UPDATE: Here's the actual video.

I think watching this video before Sock Shot really tells you what kind of mood I was in that night.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
