Whale of a Tale

On Monday the 16th I had my first peanut butter & jelly sandwich. See, I only recently got the okay to eat both strawberries and nuts. And while I've had both strawberries and peanut butter I haven't had them together - UNTIL NOW!
The taste is fair and the texture is interest--AHHHH I LOVE PBJs
The nice weather from the weekend carried over to Monday so after my delicious sandwich we headed outside for some playing. We played outside for quite awhile but we had to come back in eventually and when we did I helped Mom do some work.
Upside down cup?  Good thing it's spill proof!
Shortly after 8:00 M&D decided we needed a trip to Target. As we were making the rounds, Dad was eying the ZipList (online grocery list) on his phone when I asked to check out the forward facing camera again.Do you notice anything goofy? Look at the products on the shelf or the aisle sign - they're mirrored. Odd right. Doing a quick google search revealed that the "mirrored image" setting was set to on. It's a SETTING! Weird right?

There aren't many good pics from the 17th but that's probably because Dad was busy taking a bunch of video. Here's a 15 second clip of me dancing. You may think it's a little unorthodox but I've said it before, that Lady Gaga is a freak baby!

When I came home from Miss Anne's I was pretty hungry so I asked Dad for an apple (a word I can say) and he obliged. Of course, I didn't realize Dad would take me so literally. What I really wanted was the 'sauce' version but I can't pronounce that word yet so this is what I got.
Still, pretty good!
After my apples we met Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport at Cheddar's which is apparently the First Watch of Dinner.
They have a giant fish tank near the entrance which I assume serves the sole purpose of keeping small children entertained.
Playing with the adhesive cover from my place mat - simple toys rule!
As we were saying our goodbyes outside of the restaurant, I noticed how silly GpaD's hair is! The curls form hundreds of little holes and I really like sticking my fingers in holes (hence the need to child proof power outlets) but these holes tickled my fingers!
After dinner we did some playing outside. M&D are constantly trying to tell me that the grill is hot but it doesn't ALWAYS LOOK hot so it's confusing.
Hot?
I had a bath just before nine and afterward I got to don the second half of the new whale ensable ensemble GmaD got me.
Phew, I'm catching up slowly but surely; just one week back now.... maybe I'll take a break...

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
