Just for the Halibut

Sunday the 5th was Grandpa Davenport's birthday (happy 39th GpaD!) and to celebrate Mom, Dad and I met him at Jack Stack along with Grandma Davenport, Aunt Darcy & Uncle Dave.
M&D elected NOT to get me my own meal which essentially means I got to use everyone else's plates as my own personal buffet. I can't explain it but I have serious appetite swings. One day I'll love a particular food and the next day I won't touch it. It has definitely thrown M&D for a few loops. That day my favorite item(s) were AD's french fries - YUM!
As an added bonus, when you have your bday dinner at JS, you get FREE ICE CREAM! JACKPOT! It also came with some sort of brownie and the whole thing was topped with hot fudge. Yes, that'll do just fine, just fine indeed.
I'm not really sure how I ended up getting money from GpaD on HIS birthday but far be it from me to disappoint him. After all, everything at that American Girl store college is so expensive.
I had a lot of fun at dinner, especially after GmaD broke me out of my high chair. The odd thing? After I played on AD's lap, that dollar bill that GpaD gave me was missing (I assume that's a maniacal laugh she's doing above.)

I spent the rest of the night at home chillin' with my sisters, M&D.

Here's Blogger's "Blog of Note" for Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010. Oddly enough, here's another blog about playing old video games. This guy has decided to play all of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games in alphabetical order. He's in the the C's and is writing quite lengthy posts for each. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery

  1. I had to read Grandpa's birthday card twice to get it. Must be for advanced comprehension readers.
