Ambidextrous

I forgot to include a video in yesterday's post so here it is. I mentioned there was live music at Ciderfest and to keep with the theme, it was blue grass which I really enjoy. So naturally, I did some dancing in between bites of apple. Enjoy.

On Monday the fourth, Mom, Dad and I headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Davenport's for dinner with Uncle Dave, Aunt Darcy, Great Uncle Dale AND Great Aunt Suzi. It was a nice surprise to see GAS since she couldn't make dinner with us on Friday.
It was also kinda nice not going OUT to dinner so I could play rather than be confined to a high chair. I even got Mom and GAS to play Princess's Castle with me. It was AWESOME!

I had so much fun over at G&G D's that I almost felt bad charging GpaD for the visit but hey, that Crayola Magnetic Double Easel college won't pay for itself.

Dinner was a blast but as you can tell, I was pretty exhausted so we had to head home just after nine.

Dad picked me up from Miss Anne's on Tuesday and I joined him for allergy shots. It may not sound like that much fun but AD was there too and I always have a blast coloring with her.

But this time there was no coloring because AD BROUGHT HER NEW iPAD!!! AHHH!!! AND SHE LET ME PLAY WITH IT!!! AHHH!!! AD downloaded a piano app and I took it for a spin. Dad even recorded my first stab at it and it wasn't too bad. Click the play button above to listen.

I clearly need one of these. And if you're thinking I'm too young, you're wrong. I got a look at the box and it clear says 18+ Months... so... you know, I should be good.

Later that evening Aunt Abby came over to play with me (and maybe Mom.) She brought a gift over that Dr. & Mrs. Gordon gave to Grandma Herbert for me for my Dedication.
The book is titled The Twilight Ride of the Pink Fairy and it's written by a local children's author and illustrated by a local retired art teacher. It's even signed! Cool huh!
AA and I read a few books (including my new one, Colors and Cheerios Play Book) and did TONS of playing.
Then M&D turned on some Pandora and AA tried to get me to dance. At least I think that's what she was trying to get me to do. I couldn't tell because when I looked directly at her, I went partially blind. It was haunting.

After AA left, I did some relaxing and practiced my drawing... with both hands. I just can't decide which one I prefer using so I'll stick with 'em both for awhile longer.
Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,

Avery
