Modern (Wo)man Uses Tools

I started with this picture even though it's a bit grainy to show you what 'winning' looks like. For those of you that don't know, I have an un-stuffed animal I sleep with every night and to whom I've grown a bit attached. He's a "Silly Buddy" and his name is Froggy. Given my attachment, Mom & Dad have decided that Froggy has to stay in bed so I don't carry it around all the time and eventually lose it. Of course, I think this policy is ridiculous and am always trying to bust Froggy out of Shawshank. But while my arms do fit through the bars of the crib, they're only long enough to reach about a third of the way in. Dad's aware of this and he always tries to put Froggy out of reach. On this day however, I WON! I couldn't reach Froggy but I noticed he was on my Sleep Sack which I COULD reach. So I pulled the SS out and was able to free Froggy. WINNER!
How cute is this outfit? Grandma Davenport picked up some new digs for me the other day and this is the first time I've worn this one. The front reads 'Grandma Makes Me Happy' which is rather apropos because GmaD was babysitting me that night. M&D had tickets to see Seinfeld downtown and once again, I wasn't invited. No worries, I had a blast with G&G D and even got to spend the night because GmaD didn't have to work the next morning. AWESOME!

Speaking of Friday the 22nd (segue!) before GmaD transferred custody back to M&D at lunch (First Watch Olathe Station) we did some shopping at Oak Park mall... and stumbled across the SOFT PLAY AREA. It was totally awesome. It's essentially like a playground that's covered in foam so it's safe for children.
But while we were playing I noticed the car theme everywhere, including the sign reading Mercedes Avenue. That's when I realized it's sponsored by Aristocrat Motors. And oh man, do NOT get me started on the current Mercedes ad campaign, "I didn't realize the car in front of me had stopped... but my Mercedes did." AHHH - PAY ATTENTION!!!

Later in the afternoon, Mom broke out one of the birthday presents they got me... six months ago! It's a special coloring book with special markers that only work on the book. It's pretty sweet and trust me, they work because I definitely got some marker on the carpet and ottoman and maybe a dog or two but you couldn't tell. Sweet right?!!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
