Stay Puft

Mom and Dad took their sweet time picking my sisters and me up from Grandma & Grandpa Davenport's on the morning afternoon of the 16th. It's a good thing they got there when they did to because I was exhausted from all the fun I'd been having with Aunt Darcy, G&G D. I actually fell asleep in the car on the way home which is pretty rare these days, especially on such a short trip.

As soon as I woke up M&D packed up my stuff and we headed over to my buddy Maddie's house. It was a gorgeous day out so we joined Maddie, her siblings Porter and Sam and their buddies Morgan and Bailey on the deck.
Oh, and Aunt Patty, Uncle Stu, Pat & Nicole Wosje were there too I guess. And after a little while Tara & Chris showed up and as a special treat, Kristin and Phil came and brought my newest buddy Amelia. Mom had met Amelia before but this was a first for Dad and me. I'm so excited to have some new girl friends, especially ones a little younger because in a few years, they'll totally look up to me and I'm pretty sure they'll have to do what I say. Sweet! My first order of business will be to outlaw ridiculous outfits like the one Maddie is wearing above or this atrocious number of Amelia's

As you may have read, when dinner time rolled around we ordered some pizza and I may have drawn a little attention to myself with my unique style of eating it. Hey, we all know the toppings are the best part, at least I'm willing to own it.
M&D were a little worried that I hadn't gotten enough pizza toppings so they broke out an Uncrustable for me as well. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Uncrustables but they're pre-made PB&J sandwiches without that pesky crust. YUM!

With Maddie and Amelia still a bit small to play with me, I had to find other items to keep me busy like this super sweet no purpose rotating handle. It was awesome. But eventually the novelty wore off so AP hooked me with a toy lawn mower. Dad LOVED this idea and is currently looking for a toy vacuum and a toy dust mop to match.
In addition to the lawn mower, I got to test drive Maddie's chair which was super comfy. It's only fair that I got to test her future hangout since she got to take a spin in one of my old hangouts.
The Ludlows were excellent hosts and it's not just because AP gave me a marshmallow (with permission)... but it didn't hurt!
We got home with plenty of time left in the night to play with my sisters and I must have done a good job because Dad took this picture of Penny after I went to bed.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
