Oooo, Fiiiiirrrre

On Monday the 18th, Mom had a Paper Mill Designs meeting so Dad and I decided to meet Grandma & Grandpa Davenport at Red Robin. But since Dad & I had to hit up Target afterwards, we decided to go to the one down south... which had been closed since it caught fire August 2nd! Oops! I assume they were trying to push some sort of specialty Campfire Burger when things got sideways.
No worries, we just rolled (4.5 miles) over to Granite City instead. Dinner was fun as per the yuzhe and as an added bonus Mom met us over at Target. You know, you really need to sit back and enjoy the small things like a family trip to Target because they only happen... three to four times a week.

The morning of the 19th was kind of special because Dad made cooked me waffles... with syrup... and LET ME FEED MYSELF. It was awesome. And to show Dad how much I appreciated it, I did NOT put syrup in my hair... this time.
Mom had a special dinner planned with some of "the girls" and decided to let me tag along. I don't get to see "the girls" very often so Mom dolled me up in this special outfit from Aunt Darcy.
While we were waiting for dinner Mom decided to let me snack on some Goldfish but rather than just give me a few she gave me the bag... which I promptly dumped on the floor. It's not that I didn't want Goldfish it's that I can't be trusted and I'm really trying to drive that fact home.
My buddy Maddie was at dinner too. I totally dig hanging out with Mad Dog but I feel like sometimes she's just screaming, "Look (at me), Look (at me)" Yeah, we get it, you're cute, do you need ALL of the attention??? I mean, who's blog is this?
All in all, dinner was a blast and we didn't even have to pretend to be talking about some dumb book. Rock on.

On the evening of the 20th Dad went to play tennis with Uncle Tim. Mom and I tagged along so we could walk around the park and you know, maybe play on the swings.
Eventually I got a bit fussy because M&D wouldn't let me play tennis. I mean, it was pretty dark there near the end and I couldn't see the ball anyway but still, I wanted in.
You're MINE next time UT!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
