Flirt

I wanted to start off this post by apologizing for not being very diligent with my Words I Can Say page. It's been kinda hard lately though because I'm bustin' out words left and right and frankly I can't keep up. So today I added almost 20 new words including Bless You, Help and Tummy. Very exciting.

On Tuesday the 23, Mom, Dad and I headed to an early dinner with Aunt Darcy at Cheddars. We had to eat early because Dad and AD got tickets to the KSU v Duke basketball game downtown and had to get on the road. We ate at Cheddars because you HAVE to eat early there to avoid the crowds so it seems the stars had aligned... for dinner.
Cheddars was pretty entertaining. The restaurant was filled with old people (no offense to my elderly readers) and families with young kids, like yours truly. You can see one such example over my right shoulder. The boy in the chair was about nine months old and he was real flirty. He kept on turning around and flashing a HUGE toothless grin. He was obviously smitten with. I'm glad he didn't take it too hard when I told him my dance card was full. He's really missing out too because I am a GOOD dancer.

After dinner we did a huddle outside for a quick photo opp because it was COLD (a word I can say) then Mom and I went our separate way.

Since we still had a little bit of work to do on our Advent calendars, we headed over Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's. Since there was some sewing required we holed up in Aunt Abby's work shop, aka Mom's bedroom growing up. It's kind of cool to hang out in the same place that your parents hung out when they were little. Oh listen to me, I'm getting all mushy. Like I said, there was some sewing required and since I'm not quite qualified to use a needle and thread, let alone an actual sewing machine I just hung out with GpaH and did some sketching.
I had a blast over at G&G H's and want to thank GpaH for playing with me and thank GmaH for all of her hard Advent Calendar work. And also a thanks to whomever invented the Advent calendar. 24 mini presents all leading up to Christmas? BRILLIANT!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
