Blizzard of Oz

On Sunday the 30th, Mom & Dad wanted to hit the grocery store before SNOWmageddon hit KC and Grandma & Grandpa Herbert volunteered to watch me so I didn't have to endure a boring trip to Target. A classic Win, Win, Win.

Side note, how awesome are my jeggings?

Before we left, I opened a gift from Uncle Charlie, Aunt Eva, Jamie & Grayson that GmaH brought back from California. It's a new outfit and it's totally cute! (Thanks Cali Herberts!)

Since SNOWffaluffagus was heading to 102nd Street, Mom made us a dinner menu since it appeared we'd be eating in for the week. Monday night: Breakfast for Dinner! YUM!
Of course, I wanted to be involved in every possible way. You can't make scrambled eggs without breaking... um... well, a few eggs. Mom hogged all of that sweet action but she did let me do some scrambling. "I did it!"

While we were mixing eggs, Dad was making (and I use that term in the loosest possible manner) some pigs in a blanket. And I got a 3rd row seat for that sweet baking action.

After dinner we retired to the family room to watch the warnings about SNOWpocalypse. Apparently the local weather channel has been added to my list I can watch.
After seeing the radar map above, Dad thought the hype was all SNOWverkill but then SNOWtorious B.I.G ears came on to give us the SNOW down.

I got bored with big eared Kaiser SNOWze and decided to move, then play with my stand and groove.

I don't think we got any snow until just before I woke up but at that point it looked like SNOW big deal. SNOW-M-G, that was just the tip of the SNOWberg.
We didn't get any pics of the snow but it was bad enough that when M&D came to get me from Miss Anne's at 4:30, we almost got stuck. We were all believers after that but we were also kind of snowed out (like I'm sure you are by now) so instead of the weather, Mom and I watched 30 or so videos (of me) on YouTube. LOVED IT!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
