Easel Does It

When I got home from school on the 26th M&D had a surprising waiting for me...
They put together the Easel I got for Christmas! The last time I saw the easel... well, I couldn't really see it so I didn't even know awesome it was gonna be.
It's super versatile too. It's got a chalk board on one side, a dry erase board on the other AND a roll of paper that comes over the top of the white board. It's also adjustable so as I grow, so will it! The box states 3+ so technically I'm too young for an easel but that's probably because no one in their right mind would trust a kid under two with actual markers. Now, I could certainly argue that M&D are not in their right minds and about many things I'd be spot on but this they got right. They covered the white board with Crayola Color Wonder paper so I can be mess free. Heady right?

I still haven't quite decided if I'm going to be a righty or a lefty and while the odd are about nine to one that I'll be righty, I'm still testing all my options.

Grandma Herbert got back from California that night and missed me so much that she and Grandpa Herbert came straight from the airport.

GpaH and I did all sorts of playing; cozy coupe, sit on stairs, choo choo - THE WORKS!

GmaH thought she was gonna get some snuggle time but I was pretty amped up and was climbing all over. GmaH obliged by letting me dangle off her lap. What can I say, I love being upside down.

I'll close with this last picture. I've been wearing my sunglasses a lot to prep for our coming trip to South Florida. And after being snobliterated with 8"-10" today, I can't wait.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
