Photo Hunt

Thursday the 27th was a pretty average day but the at the end of it Mom was putting away some of my laundry and while sometimes I like to help, this time I was content to sit and watch in my giant comfy chair, snuggled with a blanket.

Mom and Dad went to see a movie on Friday night and as usual, they ditched me. That may read like it's a bad thing but that couldn't be farther from the truth because they ditched me with Grandma & Grandpa Davenport.
After some dinner (HOK-KOG!) we hopped in the car and went to Toys R Us. YESSS! You know when the box is too big to fit in the cart, that you're in for some fun!

I was very excited to play with my new table and chairs but before I could, we made a pit stop for some dessert. Ice Cream is always worth making an extra stop for so I didn't mind... as long as it didn't take TOOO long.

I totally love my little table and chairs and had a blast. They're just my size and and frankly make it a lot easier to play with my toys. I mean, why stand when you can sit. And for that matter, why kneel on the floor when you can sit. Also, they're totally light and I can move them around to wherever I want 'em.

Grandma Herbert and Aunt Abby went to visit Great Grandma Chapman so we invited Grandpa Herbert to breakfast again. And naturally it was at First Watch Shoppes at Corporate Woods.

G&G D came over that afternoon to help Dad fix the garage door. Actually, GpaD came over to help with the garage door and GmaD came over to play with me. She helped me open my newest book of the month which is pretty awesome. Peter Rabbit is a finger puppet that you can play with on every page. I totally dig it.

GpaD may have come over to help Dad but he stayed to play with me. I showed him how you can control Peter Rabbit through the hole in the back of the book. So fun!

You may have noticed in the pics from Saturday that we all wore some KSU garb. They played (if you can call it that) at KU and I enjoyed the pregame with a little snack in the kitchen.
Once the game started though, it was anything but entertaining. BOO! Always entertaining? Apple commercials! Too bad they kept interrupting them with a sad little basketball game.
Penny was so distraught over the KSU loss that I could tell she needed some consoling.

Since the game was a total bust I decided to show Dad the new outfits that G&G D got me. They were already upstairs but I didn't mind bringing them back down.
If you look close, you may notice that my shorts look a little... hmm... odd? Well, I got my original pants dirty and M&D decided I could run around pantless like a sixth month old. I, however, think I'm getting a little old for that so I drew on some pants. It's about self respect really. I tell ya, I've got some wicked good photoshop skillz though don't you think?

As I'm prone to do when I get tired, I was laying down on the floor when I came across Parker. She didn't look in the mood for a hug but I still chatted with her for a little while. I'm definitely the luckiest little sister I know.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
