Quid Pro Quo

This Friday was my day with Grandma Herbert and it was pretty awesome. In the morning GmaH helped me make a Valentine for Mom & Dad.

On Monday, GmaH and I went to visit Aunt Abby for lunch at Nordstrom so on Friday she came by to visit us. Good deal!
I had so much fun with GmaH and AA - can you tell?!?!

When Grandpa Herbert got home from work, we crammed in as much playing as possible before Mom came to pick me up. Step one: Ice Cream Sandwiches! What better way to celebrate the beginning of the weekend!
Mom getting there didn't mean the end of the fun though. I played 'blocks on strings' and showed Mom how awesome I've gotten at singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

When Mom and I left G&G H's, we went straight to Cheddar's for dinner with Dad, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. As you can see, no high chair! Sweet!
When we got done eating, I went over to visit G&G D. I hadn't seen GpaD forEVER so I got in a few quick hugs.
Then I asked GmaD if I could play 'sugar packet match game' I win!

I wrapped up an awesome day by playing choo-choo with Parker (if you look close, you can see the train I lent her on her blanket) and with a little light reading.
Or rather, I thought I was wrapping my day up then Dad springs a surprise on me. M&D are REALLY hedging their bets on our upcoming flight and are already preparing distractions for me. Dad picked up some kid head phones for me and rather than try to force them on me at 30,000 feet, he decided to do a test drive. Of course, there's no WAY I'm gonna wear these thing for no reason... so Dad had to show me what they do... by plugging them into an iPod... and then letting me play with it? BUTTONS!

I'll leave you with this picture of my sister curled up next to Dad. My parents are so lucky.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
