Sunday the 3rd was really chill. We'd just been relaxing most of the day (read: I was in a good mood) so while I was having my post nap snack, Mom suggested we hit up Theatre in the Park to see the final performance of Les Miserables.
We packed a cooler, picked up some Jimmy Johns (shock!) and hit the road. I love picnics and this was no exception.
We called Aunt Darcy, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport to see if they wanted to join and got two takers. Guess who abstained (hint: he came to pick GmaD up when we left.)
Before the show started, I grabbed a spot on GmaD's lap and hung tight for the whole show. Fortunately for all involved, it was one of the few days this month that wasn't a million degrees out. In fact when the wind picked up near the end, I put on a blanket -- IN JULY!
Jean Valjean. Voice wasn't as good as Javert's but considerably better than Marius. Heck, the Bishop had a better voice than Marius and he was only on for three minutes! Who was in charge of casting this debacle?

Master of the House, doling out the charm, ready with a handshake and an open palm. I love the Thénardiers.
We all know One Day More is one of my all time faves and I was super excited when it came on . I just hope I didn't bother anyone with my singing - sorry, I just can't help it.
We left after the first act but really, I saw what I came to see and it was like 10:00 and I was ready to crash. A party on the 2nd, Les Mis on the 3rd - could this weekend get any better? (hint: it does!)
Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.
Until Later,
Avery
