A Regular McEnroe

On the evening of June 6th, Mom, Dad and I met Grandma & Grandpa Herbert for tennis over by my school.
After M&D got sufficiently whooped by GpaH, it was my turn. Pretty sweet action shot above eh? And as that ball approached, I gave it my all, squinted, winced a little and watched as the ball bounced right by me.

Whatever, I had a BLAST putting my racquet on the ground, putting the ball on the strings then quickly picking up the racquet. Now THAT is a fun game.

Uh oh, battery is about to die - GO GO GO!
The Easter Bunny got us a plant which M&D managed to keep alive for over a month (though just barely, as you can see above.) Dad recruited me to take over the watering duties since I've been interning as plant waterer (is that a word?) for both sets of grandparents.

I've started to not completely hate head bands and Dad helped me put this one on. He also showed my what I look like using the front facing camera on his phone. I found this to be VERY entertaining.

For dinner the three of us headed over Jose Peppers. I got a little uncomfortable on my knees though and asked for a highchair. Yeah, that's right, a highchair.
AND I actually sat in it. Since then I've made the same request a few other times but haven't followed through on the actual sitting part.

On the way out, I asked for some balloons from the hostess and she hooked me up phat. Of course, I insisted on carrying them to the car, once again without incident. This is definitely going to backfire eventually right?

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
