Hats Off

Dad was away so Mom and I did play.
On the 8th, Mom and I headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's to do some playing along with Aunt Abby.
We found this old hat of Aunt Abby's (G&G H's house is FULL of bounty like this!) We took turns wearing it and it provided some lunch time hide 'n' see fun as well.
GpaH took a turn as well and kind of had a Huck Finn thing going on during story time.

After my nap we decided to make some cookies which I normally rock but as you can see, I was a little distracted. We had the KSU game on in the kitchen and they were MU in Manhattan. Unfortunately this pic was being taken at the same time that the refs had just made the worst call. Seriously, how could they over turn that? Redica!
I calmed down (eventually) and helped GmaH scoop out the cookies, which we know I rock.
I passed the baton the Mom to finish scooping while I laid down a few beats. As my grandmothers will tell you, I'm a prodigy at nearly everything and this kazoo-like trumpet is not exception.
I did volunteer to help again when it came time to sprinkle the cookies with, well, sprinkles. Man, is that why they're named sprinkles? I just got that... huh.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
