Best When Read By: Today

After a busy couple of days, it was nice to have a chill night at home on the first. I got my new book of the month book, Not a Box. It's a pretty fun book about imagination and a pretty good narrative about how awesome boxes are.
Also, how sad are my little knees. Snack time on wooden chairs can be pretty harsh.

On Thursday the third, Aunt Abby came to get me for a play date.
Grandma & Grandpa Herbert were there too and the four of us had a blast. We played Bingo (I win a lot, which is easy when I make the rules.)
AA found an old bag of marshmallows (holy cow I spelled that right the first time!) so we decided to make some rice krispie treats. Unfortunately the marshmallows were well past fresh (the Herbert Daughters don't pay attention to those little dates they put food) and the outcome was... not good.

After the RKT debacle, GpaH read me Jake Bakes the Cake. My favorite part is how Jake always uses fresh ingredients... probably. The book doesn't call that out specifically but it pretty much goes without saying... for most people.

The next day was my usual day with GmaH and for lunch, we went and met AA at Nordstrom. We didn't do a sorority pic but this one is pretty cute still.

For dinner that night Mom, Dad and I met Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner at Barley's
After dinner it was another tickle fest. AD started it and GpaD (owner of that floating hand) couldn't help but get in on the action as well.
Let's face it, my laughing is kind of contagious and even UD had to contribute. AGAIN! AGAIN!

GpaD took me to play shuffle puck and as a thanks, he got some extra special hugs.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
