On the Run

After school on the 20th, I laid out a picnic blanket on the kitchen floor so Parker, Penny, Dad and I could play legos. I love legos for their versatility. You can't really see it in the pic (foreground) but Dad built an organ (as identified by me) and I built a tire (the tower behind my right arm.) Seriously, so versatile... and I guess a good imagination doesn't hurt either.

After my bath, Dad dolled me up in my newest night shirt - FROM CHEER CAMP! It's a little big right now which is why it's been relegated to night shirt but I'll ask M&D to wash it in hot water so it can make it on the regular circuit asap.

The 21st was a Friday which meant I got to head over to Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's. YEA!
GpaH took the day off too so the three of us hit the park.
What can I say, I'm a sucker for a swing and a good slide!

I probably could have played all day but when the hunger pangs set in, we headed off to Nordstrom for Lunch with Aunt Abby.
We also took a little jaunt over to the carousel. I love it but sometimes these giant animals get a little freaky.

When I woke up from my nap, GmaH had a little food'n'craft project ready for us. Pretzel sticks, Oreos, Gumballs and a little frosting make for the MOST delicious spiders you'll ever come across. I even brought a few home for M&D too but when Mom took the foil off, Dad took one look and smashed the whole plate with his shoe! Where's the fable?

For dinner, M&D and I met Grandpa Davenport for dinner at Minsky's. We played with letters for a little while then I asked GpaD if I could put a barrette in his hair and to my delight (and surprise) he agreed. It's sad though, that poor barrette was never heard from again.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
