Nessun Dorma, Y'all

On December 6th Mom, Dad and I met Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner and while we waited, GpaD helped me play stickers. Then our food got delivered and interrupted all of our fun. Ugh, dinner is the worst!
That night Dad and I did a little adventing and I got... STICKERS!

The 7th must have been a slow day because my only pics are of the advent variety. STICKERS! Two Dollar Bill... I guess I could use it to buy stickers... or pay for college. If I invest that two dollars and earn 2% compounded quarterly for the next 16 years -- nope, it's stickers. I choose STICKERS!

On the 8th I went over to G&G D's because GmaD and I were going to a concert at Olathe East. I'm so cultured!
And that night the advent schedule got back on track with some cupcake STICKERS!

Friday was a busy day. I went over to Grandma Herbert's to hang out and for lunch we headed up to Nordstrom to eat with Aunt Abby. Despite my fake smile, we had a lotta fun!
When I got home it was a rush of outfit changes and adventing (STICKERS!) then we hit the road.
After dinner at Nordstrom with Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, G&G D we headed downtown to the new performing arts center for a special show.
AD got us tickets to the Texas Tenors with the KC Symphony. My second concert this week? My social calendar is so busy!
The new performing arts center was incredible. It was kind of a spectacle just to see this place, let alone a show. I mean, did you notice the giant pipe organ in the middle? I'd love to see Mr. Diebold light up that bad boy!
I was a little anxious so GmaD let me share her seat. We discussed all of the instruments we saw but neither of us knew why, if all harpists tilt their harp, why don't they just build it on an angle? Right?
Despite looking and speaking like cowboys, the Texas Tenors sounded incredible. But something about cowboy hats and Puccini just doesn't mix...

When I got overly restless, GmaD took me for a little walk. There was a performance of the Nutcracker at the adjacent theater and they had a live feed to the TVs outside so we watched a little of that before heading out. Can't WAIT to see that one live (next year?)

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
