EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT

Since we were going to Florida for a few days, Grandma & Grandpa Herbert wanted to get in a little extra time with your's truly so she picked me up from Miss Anne's early on Wednesday the 8th. While at their house, I stumbled across a bottle of bubbles and decided an experiment was in order: could we blow frozen bubbles? We didn't have any luck but probably because it was only 34 degrees out.

Before Mom dragged me home I asked G&G H to help me write M&D a Valentine's card. It read 'Be Mine' but I kind of thought they already were....

When Mom did get there, I showed her some of my ballet chops. Pretty good eh?

On Friday morning M&D and I met G&G H for breakfast at First Watch Shoppes at Corporate Woods. Saturday the 11th was GmaH's Bday and since we were going to be in Florida, we decided to have a birthday breakfast before we left.
This is GmaH's surprised face. No, it wasn't a SURPRISE! breakfast though now I think I may add that to my list of things to do. This was GmaH's response when she saw that I was wearing this shirt:
FRONTBACK
That's right, M&D are officially decreasing the amount of attention I'll be getting sometime on or around September 5th, 2012. LET THE HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!

After the shock and awe, we moved on to some things for ME! VALENTINE STICKERS! Since we had to get on a plane approximately five hours later and M&D hadn't packed, G&G H took me back to their house so I could have fun while M&D frantically packed.

When we got to the airport, I had my sweatshirt on to surprise Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. I also had my princess suitcase which is so awesome that I had to show Darcy all the deets.

Since I couldn't go through security with my sweatshirt on, we planted the surprise just prior to tackling TSA.
This was GmaD's surprised face... or confused face. She didn't have her glasses on so it's hard to say which words she was able to make out.

I had a window seat on the plane, then Mom then Dad. Though at some point Mom needed a break so Dad took the middle seat and showed me the coloring/drawing app on his tablet. Yes, Dad actually let me PLAY with a piece of modern technology, not specifically made for kids. He must have been desperate!
I'll get to the Florida trip over the next few posts but wanted to share the next pic ahead of schedule.

This is the first public pic of the Peanut, or at least that's what M&D are calling her (yes, I told them I wanted a sister so until I hear otherwise, that will be the pronoun of choice.) At time of posting she's 12 weeks old... kind of.
I've redacted all of the info since I'm not sure what any of it means and I've given a reference point for the sonogram impaired out there. I've also pixelated the area south of the border for her privacy and so no one tries to make any educated guesses. Besides, I already told you it's a sister.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
