Game Nights

Mom had January 16th off for Martin Luther King Jr Day so she decided to keep me home to play. We went to lunch with Dad at Nordstrom Cafe (delicious) and on our way home I complained to Dad that the sun was in my eyes so he let me borrow his hat. I guess I could have worn the sunglasses he keeps in the back seat for me but this makes for a better pic, don't you think?

That night Dad and I met Uncle Dave, Aunt Darcy, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner at Barley's for dinner and when we got home I talked Dad into playing some of the games I got for Christmas.
First up was Candy Land and to make it interesting I invited Froggy to play too. For those of you not in the know, each player draws a card and moves one or two squares to the color on the card. Froggy won which was very exciting but I wanted to win too so Dad and I kept playing. Dad won next and then I WON! CL is awesome!

The next night we broke out Chutes and Ladders and it was up to Froggy to defend her title.
In C&L you flick a spinner to determine the number of spaces you move. I didn't love that part though because I kept just moving it to 2... because I'm two. I got tired of Dad trying to correct my spinning so we retired about half way through. No worries, next up was Strawberry Shortcake Memory.
Regardless of who made the match, it was always very exciting. Mom joined us this time and she crushed it. Mind like a steel trap on that one!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
