Made a Match

After playing Strawberry Shortcake Memory on the the 17th, I was eager to play it again on the 18.
When it was just Dad and me though, I changed the rules just a little bit. Mostly, there are no rules. I still made matches though and at one point, Dad sang the Fridge Farm song (for your reference) and naturally I instituted my rule, "don't do anything if you're not prepared to do it 100 times."

Dad did fairly well learning (and remembering) the names of the girls too. Everyone knows Strawberry Shortcake and maybe you even know Blueberry Muffin but what about the likes of Lemon Meringue, Plum Pudding, Raspberry Tort and...

Egg McMuffin?

Yeah, Dad, Try Orange Blossom. Duh.

Lately when I think I'm doing something cute I've actually been prompting Dad to take a picture. I guess that's bound to happen to someone who's had their picture taken FIFTEEN THOUSAND TIMES! (not exaggerating)

With Grandma Herbert still in Hawaii, Grandma Davenport volunteered to take care of me on Friday the 20th. She even found an art project for us to make M&D for Valentine's day. FUN!
After we finished, I made burgers, ice cream and coffee for G&G D... and holdies of course... there are always holdies.

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
