Over the Line!

On Saturday the 21st, Dad and I hit up tumbling.
Sitting next to me is Coach Julie. She's super nice and is always helping me. It's weird though, she always does things the hard way. Like when we're stretching and Coach Lauren tells us to touch our toes, CJ always bends at the waist, all the way over her straight leg to her toes. Where as I, working smarter, just bend my knee and bring my toes within reach. Apple of my father's eye!

That night M&D and I went bowling with the Fairs.
David & Margot and I needed a little help so someone always had to help us out. Fortunately there were bumpers so our technique didn't have to be perfect.

There was a little step down to get to the lane so the three of us sat there and watched everyone bowl. There were little dots on the floor and as long as we were between them, we were good. Bowling is so FUN!

M&D took turns helping me but I can't wait to do it by myself. I just need to learn how to get the ball to pay attention to which direction I lean.

Dad won but it's hard to say how well D&M and I really did because the ball kept causing fowls which nullified our scores.
I'm not saying we could have taken first place but I'm confident we could have beaten Mr. Bubba's 85!

After bowling we headed back to D&M's for some pizza and playing. Is there anything better than playing with someone else's toys? They're always new (to me!)

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
