Barrel of Fun

February 25th marked the fifth morning I woke up in my big girl bed. And here's something I'll bet you didn't know: I wake up an average of 60 minutes earlier in my BGB than in my crib. Or rather, I GET up about 60 minutes earlier.
On that Saturday I woke up Mom shortly after I got up and we rolled down stairs. While Cheerios are my usual breakfast fare, I do like to branch out on occasion.
That morning (with so much time on our hands) Mom and I made crescent roll cinnamon rolls.
They were fun to make, pretty easy and TOTALLY DELICIOUS!

After breakfast Dad and I headed down to tumbling. I had a new coach to break in that day and it was apparent from the start that it wasn't going to be easy. Needless to say, she's got a way to go before getting to the Coach Lauren and Coach Julie level.

I figured since I had a new coach, I'd try something new as well: The Rock Wall. I was a little scared because I had seen ads for 127 Hours but Dad assured me it would be fine. This picture doesn't really do it justice (hard for Dad to take pictures AND spot me) but I made it about half way between the floor and the red row of rocks. It was pretty intense.

We always end tumbling with a little game and this was barrel rolling. I got a bit of a late start but made up ground quick...
I made the turn first and "left those chumps in the dust." That's what Dad said anyway but I'm not sure what it means. Maybe I need to keep him away from any of my competitive endeavors....

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
