Smacks of Jealousy

On February 29th Dad and I had dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. We stopped by their house afterwards and I talked GpaD into play ring around the rosie. He was pretty good at the ringing around but the the WORST at the all fall down.

A few days later we at with G&G D again but this time Mom joined us. Seems the lure of Jack Stack's siren song was too much for Mom to stay away.

The next day was Friday the 2nd so I spent it over at Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's. GpaH was working from home that day and during lunch we worked on a puzzle.
When GpaH had to get back to work, GmaH and I headed to the library. With so many books to choose from, I'm like a kid in a candy shop... probably. I'm not really sure since M&D don't think I "need" any candy.
When I woke up from my nap, GpaH was off the clock so we were back on the floor working on Pinkalicious.
Mom came to get and before she could haul me away, I talked her into reading one of my new books.

Aunt Abby joined us and when we left G&G H's we met Cousin Ella, Aunt Emily, Aunt Kelly, Greats Aunt Nancy & Uncle John, Dad and G&G D at Coach's South.
We were the last to arrive and GpaD must have felt his wallet was too thick because he hooked up CE in my absence.

To be honest with you, I got a little jealous of the attention CE was getting. In fact, I freaked out a bit at one point when I caught Mom holding CE. I don't know about you but I think this whole 'kid sister' thing is gonna be great... just great.
You don't think M&D will have to feed my new sister too do you?

Whatever, when we got home I was able to enjoy a few moments to myself - which I now understand are sooooo fleeting.
And do you like my new temporary bench seating? We're getting new hardwood floors and Dad brought up a few boxes for Mr. Charlie. I had to settle for sitting on them since Dad squashed my balance beam idea. Boo!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
