District 12

I spent Friday the 23rd with Grandma Herbert. After breakfast we did a little arts & crafts.
Then we read one of my new favorite books, Angelina Ice Skates. It combines two of my favorite things, Ice skating and Angelina (formerly "Ballerina").
Aunt Abby was over as well and we did a little ballet before lunch.
Classic plie.

On the 24 M&D had plans to see the Hunger Games (post apocalyptic teenage gladiator life is so hard!) so I spent the night with Grandma & Grandpa Davenport. We went to Olathe East for the taste of Johnson County. It was kind of like 'sample' day at Sam's Club but without all the undesirables trying to cut in line. Talk about your Hunger Games.
When we got home we spent a little time out on the deck to enjoy the weather. Is there such a term as "like grandfather like granddaughter?"

When we rolled back inside I played with my ice cream cones.
I wonder if there are any studies that compare a child's home life with their choice in toys. M&D don't let me watch TV so I don't have a lot of TV related toys but I have a LOT of food related toys. I wonder why that is...

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
