Kid Friendly

Saturday the 31st was my birthday... party... day.
But to start the day, Dad and I met Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for breakfast at First Watch Shoppes at Corporate Woods.
As a special treat, GmaD and AD escorted me to tumbling so M&D could prep the house for visitors... FOR MY PARTY!
Warm ups this week was with bean bags. I thought my curly hair would have made it easier to keep this bean bag on my head but somehow it doesn't. How were all of these "straight hair" girls beating me?
I tried to show AD & GmaD all the fun things I do at tumbling... or at least all of the fun things I could do. I was not really feeling the rings that week but the week prior I was crushing it (Picture not available...)

Next up: Birthday Party Pics! There are a hundred (roughly) so I'm going to breeze through these.
Ms. Hannah came a little early to help Aunt Abby help Mom decorate. Thanks MH!

I helped (kind of) Mom decorate my cupcakes with sprinkles and these cute little party flags. I thought that by planting these flags I was declaring ownership, like the US did on the moon but I guess party cupcakes don't work that way. I should have gone with my first instinct and just licked them!

When I woke up from a nap where I didn't sleep, I found a new house on our patio complete with a kid sized picnic table. Good thing too because my buddies and I needed a place to gnash!

Grandpa Herbert and I invented a new game in the backyard: Balloon Toss!
It was a pretty big success and I think it was the only thing all of us kids did together. Balloons, so easy. Who knew?

Here are a few pics of the treats Mom got for me. How cute are these cookies?
Drop Mom a note if you want to borrow her cookie lady!

Bubbles were a close second to balloons.
There were five little kids (excluding baby Ruby) and five bottles of bubbles.
No sharing necessary - PERFECT!

Before my guests left I made sure each of them got a gift basket of sorts.
It was kind of hard to give away a bunch of toys but my buds seemed pretty happy so it was worth it.
Coloring books, bubbles... who's birthday is this?

After all the kids left, I opened some gifts from Aunt Kelly.
I cannot WAIT until it rains again!

One of the last gifts I pulled out of the bag was a HARMONICA. AND IT IS AWESOME!

After the basketball games ended I asked AK to read me a few books. She earned every holdie that night, that's for sure!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
