Wishing Well

We were among the lucky ones invited to a post wedding brunch at it was held at the Newport Grill which was nearly a stones throw from our hotel. Brunch was fantastic and if you're ever in the area, I highly suggest you try it but from the moment we got there I was itching to get back outside to check out this giant fountain. After all, you know I'm a sucker for running water (and what kid isn't?)
After brunch M&D gave me some change to throw into the fountain. I made some pretty primo wishes but you'll never know what they were. On a side note, check out what the wind was doing to my hair... think it may be time for a hair cut? More on that later!

There was a path that went around the lake so while Dad drove the car back, Mom and I enjoyed a the weather and the scenery and walked back. That's us in the pic below though you may have to click on the pick to enlarge it enough to see us.

When we got back to KC we took a little nap then met Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for a Mother's Day dinner at Jack Stack. YUM!

After we got done eating I went to play with Aunt Darcy and after I fixed her hair, Uncle Dave and I got into a bit of a tickle fight. It's hard to say that he won since I'm the one laughing so I guess I'll call it a draw. Can't wait for a rematch!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
