Everything's For Sale

June 8th was a pretty busy day, in part because it was a Friday which meant I spent the day with Grandma Herbert.
Though I may have talked Grandpa Herbert into doing a little playing as well.
GpaH went through Mushroom in the Rain once before getting back to work but I hadn't had my fill so I asked GmaH to take over.
It wasn't long before we were on to our next activity though. BROWNIES! (Editor's Note: Pillsbury, we HAVE open sponsorship opportunities if you'd like to help us monetize this blog!)

Next up was a trip to the pool by G&G H's. They have a huge sand pit... which may explain why we haven't been back since. Seriously, that stuff gets everywhere.

After my nap we headed out for a swing at the neighbors and to take them some brownies. You probably remember Ellie but this is her dad, Andy. (Nice look on my face, eh? I was probably just sad to see our brownies go somewhere other than my tummy!)

When GpaH finished working we decided to have a tennis lesson.
Though I'd probably have better luck hitting the ball if I KEPT MY EYES OPEN! (Click to enlarge)

When we left G&G H's we went straight to Greats Aunt Nancy & Uncle John's. They were having the fam over for dinner so we could play Greats Aunt Dominique and Uncle Todd... AND THEIR NEW PUPPY - 'RANGO!
Rango is part Rhodesian Ridgeback and part... something else. I don't think you can tell from any of these pics or video but he has a faux-hawk that runs all the way down his back. It's pretty awesome!

Also, he's the closest one to my age so we had a lot of fun playing.

When I needed a little break I went to play with the sedimentary big kids.
When I tried to put a rubber band in Aunt Darcy's hair, my elbow may have made contact with her cocktail but Aunt Kelly sprung into action and caught it before I made (another) mess (I had already spilled my own drink - thanks for the save AK!)
Ultimately I persevered though and got a bow in AD's hair. I feel like every time I see her I have to brush her hair off her face and figured maybe she could take a hint if I let her borrow my bows.
Hey, where are my bows?

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
