Mac & Swing

Okay, just a quick little post on a Friday night to get another day under my belt.
I don't remember what Mom was up to (she and the peanut may have been napping) but Dad and I joined Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner at J. Alexander's on July 5th. They have mini Etch A Sketches (or maybe it's Etch A Sketch-I?) to entertain kiddos such as myself while we wait for dinner. Rather successful. And let me tell you something else, you'd do yourself a favor by trying the mac and cheese at JA's. It's so delicious that you'd also do yourself a favor by not trying it - hard to get addicted to something you haven't tried!

By the time we got home, the swing set was in the shade and it's was barely over 90 degrees so I talked Dad into letting me swing a bit. As you can see from the last few posts, I've gotten pretty good at "pumping" to keep myself going on the swing.

This solo (after Dad started me) session actually lasted about 30 minutes. Yes, minutes. You can't tell from the video but I actually helped pass the time by CLOSING MY EYES for much of it which made things rather entertaining. Good times!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
