Olympic Hopeful

Well, I started this post on the 30th but we turned on the Olympics and after watching the Girls Gymnastics (it's not called gym-nice-tics) took gold, I looked down and my post was empty. Not great but it was worth it. Let's see how tonight goes.

I spent Monday, June 25th with Grandma Davenport where I spent time being adorable and practicing for the 2028 Olympics!

For dinner M&D and I went over to Grandma & Grandpa Herbert's to belatedly celebrate Aunt Abby & Uncle Scott's Anniversary.
One rather large obstacle to my current Olympic plans is that I don't like putting my head under water. Might be an issue. M&D decided to grab me some goggles to keep the water out of my eyes and I gave them a test run.
Wait, aren't I supposed to be able to actually see through these?

In addition to goggles, M&D signed me up for swim lessons. Here's me with Coach Matt on the 26th.
I guess if I'm going to win an Olympic swimming medal (I'm not greedy, any will do) I should actually learn to swim first. CM had his work cut out for him!

I had dinner with Dad, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport at Ruby Tuesday on the 27th.
GmaD showed me pictures of the flowers she bought that day. I love flowers but I'll look at pictures of just about anything if they're on a piece of technology.
And poor GpaD must have so uncomfortable all dinner because it turns out his wallet had too many bills in it. Poor poor GpaD

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
Avery
