Four Score and 7 Years ago... Practically

Well, it's been over a month since I blogged and even then I was 6 weeks behind. The audio tour experiment was a bust so maybe I ought to get back to what I know. Unfortunately, despite this being a rather huge post, it only covers ONE DAY! But, it was an awesome one so it's worth it.

On November 3rd, Mom and Dad woke Mae and I up at the crack of dawn and we headed over to Grandpa Davenport's (et al) office where we met G&G D, Aunt Darcy and Aunt Kelly. G&G D were just there to take ownership of Mae but AD & AK were heading with us in the motorhome TO MANHATTAN FOR THE KSU v OSU FOOTBALL GAME!!!
Once we got to mhk, AD and I helped Dad put the finishing touches on Mom's birthday present. They called it a Plinko board and while I have no idea what that means, it was pretty fun to play with.

The football game wasn't until later that night so we played all day and had a blast.

We played all sorts of games and of course I brought a few friends to play with as well. And when I came across this mini American flag, I led a lovely version of The Star Spangled Banner.
I was the only one standing but it's okay, I have youth on my side.

Eventually the sun and fresh air took it's toll and I nearly crashed listening to my iPod (note that it's not one that has a screen - Dad's such a killjoy) so M&D sent me into the motorhome to take a nap. Of course, I was in there by myself, left to my own devices so do you think I napped? Ah, not likely. Did I get myself into trouble? Well, when Dad came into check on me, he caught me red handed - I broke into the hamburger buns and was eating one! Yes, that's all the more trouble I got into - are M&D lucky or what?

As the sun went down we started to get ready to head into the game.

It was set to get pretty chilly so we got all bundled up.

When the time came to head inside, AK and I put our differences aside (I like the pokes... as long as they're not playing the Cats and all) and we walked inside together.

Bill Snyder Family Stadium IS AWESOME!

Our tickets were technically "obstructed view" because they were behind ADA seats but frankly, I wouldn't have picked another seat in the whole place.
There's a huge walkway right in front of us and I know it severed a larger purpose but for me it was practically a playground - and I had fun playing there!

I think there may have a football game somewhere but I was having too much fun playing with AD & AK to really notice.
Mom brought glow sticks for me to play with and I used them to snare AD & AK... and not pictured here is me throwing this same ring up in the air... and around the neck of the gentleman in the wheelchair in front of us. Oops.

Around the end of the 3rd quarter, I had as much as I could take and zonked out in Mom's arms. And I guess KSU won. What an awesome day!

Remember, you can't take it with you, but you can lick it so no one else can take it when you're gone.

Until Later,
